Born in 1947 
Sakai Traditional Craftsman
He has been active for many years as a forging blacksmith using traditional
techniques passed down in Sakai City.
He is one of the rare master craftsmen who specializes in the highly difficult
Mizuhon-yaki technique, which is said to remain untouched today by only a
few artisans.
He was certified as a traditional craftsman (blacksmith) by the government
in 1996.
